Born in Taos, New Mexico—a place rich in Indigenous creativity—she is a visionary artist, entrepreneur, and cultural leader. Rooted in her Argentinian, Mexican, and Mescalero Apache ancestry, she channels the strength and beauty of her heritage into every aspect of her work, bridging tradition with a bold vision for the future.
As co-founder of Café Corazón, Kansas City’s first Latinx and Indigenous coffee shop, Dulcinea has built more than a business—she has created a movement. With three thriving locations a roasting warehouse and more on the horizon, Café Corazón is a vibrant hub celebrating ethically sourced products, cultural heritage, and community connection.
Her artistry, spanning abstract paintings, still-life compositions, and digital design, tells powerful stories of identity, strength, and belonging. Her impact extends far beyond her businesses, with her work and leadership earning recognition on major platforms, including PBS, Apple TV, Hulu, Roku TV, and the Emmy-nominated show American Dream. She has been honored in the Congressional Record of the House of Representatives and crowned Miss Kansas City Latina 2021.
